You know how facebook refreshes sometimes and the picture comes later?
Well, I was new to blogging four months ago and worried about whackos out there. I just can’t stand the idea of some crazy comments from a stranger with a crazier nickname leaving mean messages on my blog, like
You suck, go back to writing in your diary, loser.
I refreshed my facebook page and there was a comment written without a name or face. It freaked me out. I was certain that someone had hacked into my computer.
I kept staring at it thinking, how in the world could someone I don’t know leave me a comment on my page without a name or picture.
The comment was “I like women in red dresses.”
It was around 9p, and I was a little bit tired. I thought oh, great, someone now has access to all of my personal information. I started changing all of my settings to private and I notified the facebook police.
The following morning, I woke up and checked my facebook account and it was friend of mine. His picture and name just hadn’t refreshed. I thought for certain it was a cyber criminal. Turns out it was my real life friend.
We can all let out a sigh of relief. No cyber space stalkers here. Just crazy friends who like women in red dresses.
